Beautiful river friendly textiles

Event Entry Fee
Event Description

Natural dyeing is a non toxic and ancient form of colouring textiles that has been practised for thousands of years the world over, in contrast to the harmful synthetic dyes that are used today.  This is a two day hands on event where you can learn two very different natural dye techniques:

Learn to ecoprint (day 1) on fabric using local as well as more exotic plants! On day two you will learn how to make an indigo dye vat and dye fabric the most amazing shades of blue. All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring a small item to dip in the indigo dye vat.

You can choose to do just one day @ €50 per head or do both days at a discounted rate of €90. We will be providing tea/coffee and cake! and hope to make this event as enjoyable as possible!
