'Meanderings Of A Colourful Mind' runs at Clonmel Library Gallery from Oct 9th to 21st. The official opening is on Wed, Oct 11th at 6pm. All are welcome to attend. The exhibition is a collaboration between 3 painters from Ireland and The Netherlands; Marja van Kampen, Olivia O’Keeffe and Martina Furlong. The theme of the exhibition is “The landscape of the imagination through the exploration of colour”. All three artists have a strong connection with the land and with landscape. Whether it is a fantasy landscape of the imagination, a landscape interwoven with memories, or one that is formed through the expression of emotions. Each of these artists explores and expresses these landscapes using paint as the unifying medium, combined with a vivid use of colour and a personal painterly style. This exhibition reflects three artist’s creative journey showcasing both individual paintings and a collaborate artist’s sketchbook, concertina style.
