MenoWell Tipperary ‘MenoWell Tipperary’ is a FREE 6-week online expert-led and evidence-based lifestyle medicine-focused exercise, nutrition, and health education programme promoting wellness for women in all stages of adult life. This programme is designed to support, educate, and empower women in preparation for changes in midlife, for women experiencing the menopausal transition, and for supporting women in life after menopause. ‘MenoWell’ has been shown to improve cardiorespiratory fitness, upper- and lower-body muscular strength and endurance, lower-back and hamstring flexibility, menopausal symptoms, subjective wellbeing, and physical self-efficacy. This programme is starting on Friday 17th October at 1pm and is aimed at women living in county Tipperary. Overview of the Programme 2 * 40-minute live online women-specific strength exercise classes per week – Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm. 1 * 30-minute live online women-specific health masterclass per week – Fridays at 1pm. Please note these are recorded. The health education workshops are supplemented with take-home resources including infographics summarising the workshops and nutrition recipes.
