This is a new project to connect people to nature, movement and music in the natural setting of Knockanacree Woodlands in Cloughjordan, Co. Tipperary. In 2026 a Tipperary Creative Ireland Project Award has been awarded to test and pilot this programme in the area. It will run over a series of six Friday mornings between May and June 2026. It is open to all adults, and free to participate. Fridays, 10am to 11.30am May - 1st, 8th, 15th, 29th June - 5th, 12th A person can attend one session, or all six sessions, but each session must be booked online to ensure there is a silent disco headset available for you on each date. The benefits of Dance and Movement are widely known and accepted, as are the benefits of Music and being outdoors immersed in Nature. Therefore combining these three elements together into a creative community offering has the potential to increase participants social cohesion and sense of belonging, to improve their health and wellbeing and to combat feelings and experiences of social exclusion, whilst enhancing their connection with their creative, moving, dancing bodies in nature. It is an invitation to adults to join the movement project in Cloughjordan to explore their relationship with movement, dance, nature, music and their expression of their creative selves.
