Tipperary People and Places Lecture Series Delve into the rich tapestry of Tipperary's archaeological past in the upcoming January lecture of the Tipperary People and Places Series in The Source, Thurles on Tuesday 23rd January at 7.00p.m. Ross Drummond will discuss two recent excavations—The first, situated near Tipperary town along the N24, proved to be a treasure trove of locally made pottery. The second along the N52 near Borrisokane suggests a possible ecclesiastical enclosure and also a Cromwellian era settlement. Medieval pottery was also discovered.
