This year as part of the planned programme of events for the Rhododendron Walking Festival 2026: On Saturday, 30th May:-The walking festival will be based out of St. Paul’s Community Hall, Clogheen for three new walks starting and finishing in the village with food and musical entertainment for all on their return to the community hall. Following the walks, there will be an opportunity to discuss the Rhododendron, it’s varieties will be discussed and explored, which will provide an opportunity for information & education. Sunday, 31st May, A further three walks will start & finish in Clogheen with musical entertainment and food back in the community hall after the walks. This festival has quickly become the largest walking festival in the country due to the innovative local communities showcasing the variety of untapped walks in the area with stunning scenery.
