Event Description
The Book of Dimma is an illuminated manuscript made in the holy site of Roscrea in the 8th Century. In the 12th C. an elaborate book shrine was made to house it safely. Tipperary ETBs Ballycommon Craft Group, with TETB tutor Lian Callaghan, have used the Book of Dimma as inspiration for the textile wall hangings and 3D pieces that will be displayed from Monday 15th May @ 2:30pm.
