Join textile artist, Gemma Morris-Kavanagh to slow down and take the afternoon one stitch at a time. Gemma will have a range of activities for people to try, including making simple needlework kits and creating decorative patches to repair or brighten up items of clothing, bags or other textiles. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. This workshop is part of a bigger project in partnership with the Museum of Hidden History in Clonmel, using historic textiles for inspiration and encouraging people to learn about textile techniques and to repair what they wear.
