Join textile artist, Joanne Ryan, to try your hand at making felt from unspun wool. Felt-making is an ancient textile craft, which uses friction, soap and water to transform wool fibres into a fabric. It’s super easy to do and works like magic! No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. This workshop is part of a bigger project in partnership with the Museum of Hidden History in Clonmel, using historic textiles for inspiration and encouraging people to learn about textile techniques and to repair what they wear.
