Harvest: an evening of songs as a fundraiser for STAC

Harvest; An evening of heartfelt songs As the evenings get darker and colder, nothing warms the heart as much as a gathering of like minded/like hearted people sharing songs. On Friday October 10th at 8pm, The Wood of O, Neill Bourke and Purple Roses will gather to play at STAC Chapel in Kickham Barracks Clonmel. It will be an intimate evening sharing songs and the stories behind them. The Wood of O’, Breege Phelan & Will McLellan, has been mesmerising audiences for the past seven years with their unique sound. If you enjoy haunting, heartfelt vocals that reach into the bottom of your soul, melodic fingerstyle acoustic guitar that flows between genres, then this group is worth a listen. They have been gaining notice from Irish audiences for their unique folkish sound, channelled through the passionate and dynamic vocals of their lead singer, Breege Phelan. Not to be missed. All proceeds go to the South Tipperary Arts Centre. Doors open at 7.30pm with performances from 8pm until 9.30pm. Tickets are 10 euros and are available via eventbrite or https://www.southtippartscentre.ie/events/harvest or at the door on the night.
