Paddy Casey
After his warmly received show at The Source in 2023, Paddy Casey returns for a solo performance. Casey released his first album 'Amen (So Be It)' in 1999 containing the hits 'Sweet Suburban Sky' and 'Winter's Fire'. He returned in 2003 with the multi-platinum album, 'Living', which marks the 21st anniversary of its release this year. ‘Living’ to this day is still one of the best selling albums in Ireland with over 1/4 million copies sold and a handful of radio hits such as 'Living', 'The Lucky One', 'Bend Down Low', 'Want It Can’t Have It' and 'Saints And Sinners'. Having been at the forefront of the Irish music scene since his debut album Paddy Casey’s career has taken him all over the globe touring with acts like The Pretenders, R.E.M, Ian Brown, Blondie and Tracy Chapman to name a few. Closer to home he has played all over Ireland, including a sold out Dublin Castle, RDS and a record-breaking week long run in The Olympia Theatre, alongside special guest spots with U2, Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan and more. His most recent album 'Turn This Ship Around' (2021) was described by Hot Press as a "sprawling gem of a double album". This intimate show at The Source promises to be a brilliant night of hits and new tracks.
