To celebrate Bealtaine The Source Arts Centre will host a Free Screening to the over 60's of the classic film Rebel Without a Cause. Having been in trouble elsewhere, new kid in town Jim Stark (James Dean) is attending his new high school. Confused and aliented from his middle class family, Jim looks to make friends. But he is rebuffed quickly, setting in motion a series of events. A challenge to fight and a 'chicken' car race ensues as Jim and his 'new family', Judy (Natalie Wood) and troubled Plato (Sal Mineo) navigate a night of danger across town in 1950's America.
