This project has received funding as part of Creative Ireland programme with support from Tipperary County Council. This series of workshops will run for 5 sessions over 5 weeks. The activity will be targeted at older adults. Participants will share stories and songs associated with objects that hold meaning for them. The process will result in a collaboratively produced sound piece created by the group which will have been recorded over the 5 weeks. It will contain sound elements generated by the group that will include stories, songs, collected soundscape elements and instrumental playing by the group using a highly accessible set of acoustic and electronic instruments that lend themselves to simple and immersive soundscape playing.
